Bryson Sales & Service Inc. has proudly represented Blue Bird buses for over five decades. Our story began on December 13, 1969, when Glenn Bryson, a respected leader in student transportation and longtime Blue Bird advocate, seized the opportunity to acquire the Blue Bird dealership for Utah and Nevada. Glenn’s relationship with Blue Bird began in 1957 when, as Director of Transportation for Davis County School District, he purchased Utah’s first Blue Bird All-American school bus.
Backed by his passion for mechanics and a deep understanding of bus maintenance, Glenn launched Bryson Sales from humble beginnings—operating out of a basement office and his home garage. His sons, Lynn and Brent, soon joined the family endeavor. Lynn became Shop Director, and Brent left his job as a woodshop teacher to help grow the business. By 1972, their hard work paid off with a move to a larger, two-bay facility in West Bountiful, a leap forward in space and capability.
Through the years, Glenn remained a steady presence, working alongside his sons well into his 80s. Under Lynn and Brent’s leadership, Bryson Sales expanded its footprint, acquiring the Idaho Blue Bird dealership in 2003. Though Brent’s sudden passing in 2004 left a profound void, his influence continues to shape our values and service excellence today.
In 2018, a new chapter began when Brandon Bryson purchased the business from Greg Bryson and Rick Wood. With Brandon at the helm, the company has flourished—deepening its reputation for reliability, service, and innovation in the pupil transportation industry.
In 2023, Bryson Sales opened a state-of-the-art, 8-bay service facility, a testament to our continued growth and commitment to supporting our customers with the latest tools and technologies. Looking forward, we're excited to announce that expansion into the commercial bus market is on the horizon.
From a backyard garage to one of the leading Blue Bird dealerships in the western United States, Bryson Sales & Service Inc. remains family-driven, customer-focused, and future-ready.
